Is it always windy in the Algarve, Portugal? - windy 14 oz
I just back from the Algarve and the weather was fine, unless it was so windy. The wind blew from 12 days to 14 and the night the wind was cold enough (for the day) as compared to men generally wore sweaters in the evening. It was so windy night he could not sit outside. Is it normal that? We stayed in Lagos. We started, like returning to sit so nice outside at night during their vacation.

Lagos is indeed a very windy place, you can take a few days without wind, but generally, yes, you can find in the wind.
If you do not like the wind, it is better to choose another place next time, like Portimao, Albufeira, Vilamoura, Tavira ...
If Lagos is known to be very windy and is from March to Sagres more and more wind known. Ideal for surfing though!
Also in Alvor is very windy. Windsurfing and kite surfing competitions are held annually in Alvor.
I agree that the Praia da Rocha is less wind. The beach is beautiful bays and employ stone, which I think you'll like it!
